Boracay Opening 2019 – Airport to Hotel Transportation Flow

Posted on by MyBoracayGuide

Welcome to the New and Improved Boracay 2.0

Over the past 6 months Boracay underwent some serious rehabilitation and is ready to open her arms to the world once again. Everyone is very excited to get back to the Island and enjoy her beautiful beaches, delicious restaurants and dazzling nightlife. When you arrive to the Island you will experience a new and improved entry procedure.

Arriving at the Caticlan Airport

Arriving in Caticlan Airport
The new Caticlan airport is currently under construction and is expected to be completed by the end of 2019. Guests arriving in Caticlan are currently using a temporary terminal in the town of Nabas about 15 minutes away from the Caticlan Jetty Port.

Getting to the Caticlan Jetty Port

Caticlan Airport Tricycle StandWhen you exit the airport there are a couple of options you can choose from to get to the Caticlan Jetty Port. You can take an tricycle which is a bit of a pain because halfway to the port you need to transfer to a second tricycle due to a conflict between local municipalities. The other option is to book with one of the local airport transportation companies. We recommend MyBoracayGuide for a seamless, hassle-free airport transportation with a friendly guide.

Hi if i book to a acredited hotel for a specefic time, however i exceeded that stay by booking to other hotel, would I be facing any problem if in case that happens?

    • MyBoracayGuide says:

      Dear Jayson,

Dear Jayson, You need a confirmed reservation at an accredited hotel to enter the island. If your reservation expires and you stay at another hotel I don’t believe you need to update the local authorities on your new hotel reservation. If you leave the island and want to enter again you will need a reservation at an accredited hotel.

If you have any other questions we are always here to help and support.

      Thanks and sincerely,

      Chad

Hi Is there any fix schedule for ferry from Boracay to Caticlan Airport? Our flight back to manila is 7AM?

    • MyBoracayGuide says:

      Dear Aimee,

There is not a fixed ferry schedule. The bangka boats depart once they fill up with passengers. The boats run 24 hours a day, with limited boats operating throughout the night.

  6. arnel says:

hello.. what is the earliest boat trip from boracay to caticlan? because we have a flight @ 7:30 am.

    • MyBoracayGuide says:

      Dear Arnel,

The boats operate 24 hours a day. There are limited number of boats running throughout the night and not as many passengers, so sometimes there can be a longer wait time between trips. Give yourself extra time on your departure so you are sure not to miss your flight. If you need any help or assistance please give us a call at 288 9999 or email info@myboracayguide.com.

      Thanks and sincerely,

      Chad

  7. Bonnie says:

We are family of 6 adults.
    1. Is it better to charter a boat from Caticlan jetty to resort at bulabog beach?
    2. Can seniors and PWD get discounts on boat and van?

    • MyBoracayGuide says:

      Dear Bonnie,

The boats run between Caticlan Jetty Port and Cagban Jetty Port. They don’t drop off at White beach or Bulabog beach following the one entry one exit policy. Charters are available, but in general, the boats fill up quickly and there isn’t much wait time.

I recommend using the First Class Transfer which includes a chartered boat and a private van. Use the promo-code: 60+Senior to receive 20% Off.

If you have any questions please email us at info@myboracayguide.com we are always here to help and support.

      Thanks and sincerely,

      Chad

Is it true that without a voucher we cant enter boracay? How about just a confirmed booking in booking.com?

    • When you book your hotel via booking.com they will send you a confirmation. Print that; it will act as your voucher. You should just make sure that your hotel is on the approved list.
