Helmet Dive

Spend a blissful rendezvous underwater with vibrant fishes and corals through helmet diving. This wondrous marine trip starts with a thrillingn speedboat ride from White Beach to a wide raft in the middle of the sea amid the spectacular panorama of the surrounding islands. A buildup of excitement among other aqua-adventurers welcomes you at the raft where you shall anticipate your turn for your own exploration underwater. After a brief orientation about Helmet Diving, the much-anticipated aquatic immersion takes place.

Upon descending the ladder, the oxygen-pumped helmet will be put on your head and with the guidance of a dive master, you will slowly transcend around ten feet into the watery abyss of sandy seabed and coral reefs, inhabited by colorful fishes. The ten-minute long helmet dive will impel you to breathe through the underwater world, where in utter silence you shall perceive the life of fishes immaculately living off in the lustrous coral reefs that sustain the beauty of our majestic sea.

You will also get a firsthand look at these aquatic marvels as you feed them with pinches of bread. With your helmet diving experience digitally documented, you will be set to ascend to the surface and return to the life you are blessed with. At the end, a speedboat shall take you back on land where the memory of your helmet diving experience lingers you to more aquatic adventures in Boracay.

Helmet diving was my highlight of the trip. Throughout the experience we were taken care of and got to see lots of fishes!

Only thing is when we booked we saw that there was a free sunset cruise with any activity booked. When we asked our guide he said it cost 800- a little confusing.

The event was well organised, went by a speedboat to sort of a station nearby the coast. After a brief explanation I got immersed. My ears turned out to be very sensitive to pressure and I needed to do it slowly, was quite panicky and stressed at first but got the groove after about 5 minutes. There are some statues underwater with which the guys use as background to take pictures with you, I think they are not too pretty and I would have preferred photos only with the natural reef. Fortunately there is also a natural part full of colorful fish and I had a chance to touch anemone for the first time in my life. Guys show off their air bubble makings skills underwater and take a lot of photos which are then transferred to your phone, so don\'t forget to keep it charged!

At first I was a little nervous since I can\'t swim and will be totally immersed in water but this is one of the best experiences I had. No swimming skills required and a chance to see the beauty underneath. Not only that booking with My Boracay Guide was way fast, the tour guide picked us up 30 minutes I made the call to book, their staff is very professional and giving us tips about the island. Way to go!!!

No swimming skills will not be a problem for this activity. This is what I enjoy the most in my visit in Boracay Island. Get a chance to feed fishes under water and be guided with their professional divers who gave you instruction on what to do. Amazing experience indeed.
