Boracay

If you love the nightlife, Boracay is a smorgasbord of all things that go Boom in the night! Almost everywhere has a happy hour with most starting at 5 through 7, however there are some that start earlier and go later. With tropical drinks served direct to your room, beach cabana or even at sunken pool bars you can enjoy paradise with a buzz at any hour of day or night.

Station 3 has some more down to earth reggae vibe style bars, try Red Pirates for excellent music, people and atmosphere. Every Friday there is a BBQ on the beach which is occasionally accompanied by live music. Jungle Bar has relocated to Bulabog beach where you can find regular sunset drum and native instrument jams. The fullmoon parties are not to be missed!

Station 2 has a vibrant live music scene starting with Regency's full band on the beach, followed by Boracay Garden Resort which has alive show sing along style buffet restaurant. The Boracay Mandarin Island Hotel also has a full band you can enjoy while dining. Summer Place has different musical events along with DJ's and a poker game, not to mention it's usually one of the last parties going on every night. D'Hobbit House has nightly performers. Bom Bom and Pat's Creek offer a very relaxed reggae environment with nightly performers and an occasional friendly poker game. Mint also has live music directly on the beach. Bamboo Lounge has regular fire dancers who will light your cigarette while twirling fire in your face, if you are brave enough.

Station 1 has occasional live music at Ariel's House and the combination of Jony's Place and Chillout Bar. Some of the larger resorts also have live music such as Fridays Boracay. Cocomangas offers full moon parties, dancing and a special selection of 15 shooters that upon completion.... If you can still spell your name, will receive a plaque on the wall and a T-shirt. Guilly's Island offers dancing and lounging out onto White Beach and is open late.

One new middle eastern tradition has hit the island in a big way, the Shisha (Water pipe) is a smooth, flavorful way to enjoy tobacco in Style. Café Del Mar offers a wide selection of flavors and is a most relaxing way to enjoy the sunset. If you're looking for more action packed dance style of night life then try Juice Bar in Plazoleta. If you're looking to find where the expats congregate, try Crafty's rooftop Bar above Crafts Supermarket, Rumbas in D'mall and Nig Nigi Nu Noos in station 2. Exit Bar, located between Bom Bom and Red Coconut has a great mix of locals, divers, kiteboarders and all around interesting people.

Best time to party? Every night! However a few times of year stand out as the best since a lot of money is put into brand promotion so you can expect party grandeur. Come for Halloween, Christmas/New Year week and Holy week (Easter) if you want to see some of the best parties in the world.

Cocomangas is one of Boracay's classic party places. Started in 1987, it is very popular with both foreigners and locals. It has the famous challenge "still standing after 15 shots." Those who are victorious will score a point for their home country, have their name engraved on the 'Boracay Wall of Fame', and get a free T-Shirt as their prize. There is a DJ playing dance/hip hop/house music, and a large dance floor that gets a great crowd going. There is a main bar at the front, a side bar at the back, and comfortable bean bag seating. The 'guaranteed' party.

This is a great way to enjoy a cocktail on the go! You can choose from a number of delicious flavors of slushy mix that is combined with your favorite alcohol. Two locations make it great for a top up as you're chilling on White Beach. Pick up your tumbler and get discounts on refills from the outlet on the main road in D'mall or White Beach Station 1 at Obama Grill.

A fresh new vibe to Boracay's amazing nightlife! The name itself offers a glimpse into the kind of party you can have here. One of the largest clubs on the Island, Epic offers a classy lounge style atmosphere. The attractive menu offers western and Asian cuisine that will excite your taste buds day and night. There are often large events and famous DJs that will keep you dancing till the sun comes up. Epic is located in the heart of White Beach at the entrance to D'mall.

If you are looking for a great performance from fire dancers then this is the place to enjoy the entertainment with lots of photo ops! There are cool lounge style seats on the beach where you can chill out or seats inside with a trendy bar. The food here is also exceptional with certified Angus Beef, fantastic Chinese food, Haagen-Dazs ice cream, fine wines and below zero beer!

Bom Bom and Pat's Bar are next to each other and share the same beach area. They are a native style beach bar that features live music and jam sessions in driftwood chair and beach beanbag seating directly on the beach. The music is a raggae, Carribean, aboriginal, Philippine mix in a Bob Marley type atmosphere.

Charlh's Bar is the only bar on the beach side of the footpath and is truly on the beach. Every night there are live bands performing music of different types. There is a large hardwood semi circle bar, but most people sit on the beach inches from the sea watching the band. Charlh's is a Boracay icon, and probably has the best location this side of White Beach.

Club Paraw is a happening place from sunset to very early in the morning. There are chill beach seating areas on the beach, a full bar and table seating inside, and a sand dance floor that gets packed late night, fuelled by a live DJ and reasonably priced drinks. Try the Tower for 1800 PhP, a mixed drink of various flavours suitable for your whole party.

Juice is located in the Plazoleta, a small arts and crafts and boutique shop area with sand floor. It has a live DJ and plays RnB/Dance music. It's a hip younger crowd later at night, and the party and dancing at times explodes onto the footpath and plaza area. Plenty of seating in the bar area at the front, sand seating area with bean bag chairs in the center, and tables with seats at the rear.
